Tropicals are cultivated in the lush rain forests of the Hawaiian Islands. These spectacular blooms have vibrant rainbow colors and sculptured shapes. Tropicals are native to Polynesia, South America and Asia. These blooms are mostly varieties of Heliconia, Ginger, Anthurium and Orchids. A dramatic and impressive arrangement in a simple vase will last a week or more.

Protea

Protea is a fascinating prehistoric floral species native to South Africa and Australia. These flowers are named after the Greek God Proteus (which means, many different forms). Today, 1500 varieties of Protea are known to exist. Each type has distinctive coloring, texture, and shape. The cool "up-country" area of Maui, Hawaii has ideal climatic conditions for the commercial propagation and cultivation of Protea. Hawaiian Protea is highly valued worldwide for it's exceptional size and spectacular colors. Cut stems have a vase life of 10 DAYS to TWO WEEKS. After Protea are removed from the vase water they slowly air-dry, retaining their shape and some of their coloring. They can then easily be arranged as 'everlasting' bouquets which last for many years. Most varieties of Hawaiian Protea are available all-year-round, making them the perfect gift choice for all occasions.

Flower Shipment

All orders are shipped via Fed Ex Standard Service. Shipping charges are based on zip code destinations. Shipments requiring Priority or Saturday Delivery will be charged an extra $20.00. Address corrections required during shipment will be $10.00 extra. Please contact us before ordering if you need a speedy delivery and are ordering late, or if you need a Monday, next day or A.M. delivery. We cannot guarantee that orders sent out after Wednesday to California or Canada will arrive by Friday or Saturday due to restrictive agricultural and custom policies.
